Principal Business Systems Analyst, Global Finance Systems & Processes

In this role you will:
- Serve as the primary SME within the function/area for Oracle Finance systems and complex business scenarios, advising on finance, accounting, tax, revenue, and compliance needs.
- Lead functional workstreams and initiatives of moderate to high complexity with guidance in only the most complex situations; ensure alignment to defined objectives and standards.
- Perform business process analysis, requirements elicitation, and gap analysis for Finance systems initiatives.
- Drive functional solution architecture within the Finance systems domain; design and configure Oracle Financials modules (AP, AR, GL, CM, FA, SLA, E‑Business Tax) and revenue recognition configuration.
- Plan and execute functional testing; develop and run test scenarios for unit, SIT, and UAT to validate new or enhanced processes.
- Produce clear documentation: functional designs, requirements specifications, process workflows, test plans/scripts, and reporting/data visualization specifications.
- Deliver training to key users and end users; develop user guides and enablement materials.
- Partner with adjacent teams (e.g., core‑sales, CRM, DWH, banking) to ensure integrated end‑to‑end processes and data flows.
- Support finance‑systems workstreams for post‑merger integrations aligned to defined M&A plans and timelines.
- Communicate complex concepts to multiple teams and organizational levels; build consensus and influence solution decisions.
- Apply unconventional and inventive thinking to identify fit‑for‑purpose solutions while adhering to standards and controls.
- Maintain confidence, creativity, and independence across all stages of implementation projects and tasks.
- University degree in Business Administration/Finance/Accounting; domain knowledge of the IT industry.
- Comprehensive expertise with Oracle Fusion Cloud or Oracle E‑Business Suite R12, focused on Financials and O2C Applications.
- Major full life‑cycle implementation experience in a global company, including integrations with core‑sales, CRM, DWH, and banking systems.
- Proficiency across Oracle Financials and Procurement: Payables, Receivables, General Ledger, Subledger Accounting (SLA), E‑Business Tax, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Advanced Collections, Purchasing; O2C expertise including Subscription Management, Order Management, Advanced Pricing.
- Thorough knowledge of IFRS/IAS, US GAAP, and SOX; profound understanding of US Sales & Use Tax, EU/UK VAT, and GST in Canada, Singapore, and Australia.
- Demonstrated ability to operate independently with minimal guidance, lead functional initiatives/workstreams, and influence solution design and outcomes.
- Strong stakeholder partnership and communication skills across teams and organizational levels.
- Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) and/or related business process expertise.
- Oracle Business Intelligence Applications knowledge.
- Experience contributing to Finance systems standards and best practices within the function/area.
